Music Studies is an optional subject for all students in either Junior or Senior cycle in CBC Monkstown. The course covers all music from instruments to  history and theory. The music exam for the Junior and Leaving Cert are completed by examiners before the June exams.  Many famous bands such as ”The Thrills” and “Hoarsebox” are made up of CBC past pupils .
