Rugby

Rugby is the main sport in CBC. With teams from First to Sixth year it has a lot of dedicated players and coaches. With multiple teams for each year everybody can find their own skill level and play with people of their level and age. There are two main teams in the school that every player wants to play for at some time in their sporting career; the Junior Cup Team (JCT) or the Senior Cup Team (SCT). The Junior and Senior Cup are huge competitions played by all large rugby playing schools in the province. It’s a huge honour to play for either team and represent their school. The rugby seasons starts in September and ends around St. Patrick’s Day (17th March). For a list of the Rugby coaches and teams click here Coaches + Training Times 2011-2012

Fixture List:
i) All matches are subject to confirmation (TBC) and may be re-scheduled.
ii) In the unlikely event of a training session / match being cancelled relevant players are informed as soon as possible by either an address on the school tanoy system or by their team’s coach. It is the responsibility of the player to inform their parent(s) if this occurs. The office staff will also be informed and an update for the website as soon as possible.
