Sports Day 2024

The highly anticipated Sports Day 2024, held on May 22nd was a huge success, bringing together students and CBC Staff for a day filled with spirited competition, camaraderie, and fun. The school grounds buzzed with excitement as participants showcased their athletic talents and teamwork across various events.
The different events such on the Track Field were the highlight of the morning, with students competing in sprints, relays, long jump, and shot put. The 100 and 400 meter dash was particularly thrilling. Meanwhile, other year groups enjoyed a variety of fun activities such as rounders, dodgeball, volleyball and tug-of-war. The laughter and cheers from these events added a festive atmosphere to the day.
In the afternoon, attention turned to a charity match between the 3rd year students and the teachers. The soccer match was fiercely contested. The teachers came out on top with a 2-1 win. It was a wonderful display of community spirit and added to the enjoyment of the day.
The event concluded with winning students from all year groups being awarded with a medal recognizing their outstanding performances on Sports Day. Sports Day 2024 was not just about winning but celebrating the values of effort, teamwork, and having fun. Congratulations to all participants for making this year's event memorable.
