The CBC Advent Service and Christmas Craft Fair took place on Tuesday the 12th of December in the school hall. A huge thank you to all of our wonderful musicians and 1st year readers who participated in the service. There was a wide range of talents on display. A special congratulations to the CBC and Loreto Abbey Dalkey joint choir who made their singing debut. They impressed us with their talent and warm harmonies. Well done to the TY Mini Companies for all of their selling at the event. There were Christmas Cards, Candles, Bird Houses and lots of delicious treats on sale.    
The Department of Education have asked all schools to circulate the following document to all parents/guardians. Senior Cycle is changing. Subjects are being updated. The student Leaving Certificate experience is being reimagined. Over time, all subjects for the Leaving Certificate will have additional assessment components so that students can show their many talents, competencies and skills outside of the exam hall.
